1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings made with impactravel (“we”, “us”, “our”) for public and private tours organized worldwide. By booking a tour, the participant agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Booking and Contract Formation
– A booking becomes legally binding only after full payment is received.
– Confirmation is issued only after successful payment.
– Payment is due immediately at the time of booking.
Pricing
Private Tours:
– Base price: CHF 199.00 (includes up to 4 participants)
– Each additional participant: CHF 15.00 per person
Example:
– 4 participants = CHF 199.00
– 5 participants = CHF 199.00 + CHF 15.00
– Minimum booking amount remains CHF 199.00
3. Minimum Participants :
– Private tours are not cancelled due to minimum participation once confirmed.
4. Cancellation by Participant
If you need to cancel your booking, the following refund conditions apply:
- Cancellation more than two weeks before the scheduled tour date: 100% of the total booking amount will be refunded.
- Cancellation between two weeks and one week before the scheduled tour date: 50% of the total booking amount will be refunded.
- Cancellation less than one week before the scheduled tour date: No refund will be issued.
Please note that cancellations are only valid once confirmed by Impactravel in writing (via email).
5. Changes by impactravel
Impactravel reserves the right to make necessary changes to itinerary, schedule, guides, accommodation, or transportation. Such changes do not entitle participants to a refund, provided the overall character of the tour remains substantially unchanged.
6. Force Majeure
Impactravel is not liable for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, political unrest, strikes or transportation disruptions. In such cases, refunds are not guaranteed but may be provided at impactravel’s discretion.
7. Participant Responsibilities
– Participants are physically and mentally fit to participate
– Participation is at their own risk.
– Participants must comply with local laws and guide instructions.
– Participants are responsible for personal belongings.
– Participants may be excluded if behavior endangers others; no refund will be provided.
8. Travel Insurance (Mandatory)
Participants must obtain adequate travel insurance covering medical expenses, accidents, personal liability, trip cancellation and repatriation. Failure to obtain insurance is at participant’s own risk.
9. Liability Limitation
Impactravel acts as the organizer of the tours.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
– Total liability is limited to the total amount paid by the participant for the tour (including additional participants).
– Not liable for indirect or consequential damages, missed connections or emotional distress.
– Not responsible for third-party services beyond legal responsibility.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
10. Photography and Media
Impactravel will not use photographs or videos of participants for marketing or promotional purposes without prior explicit consent.
11. Data Protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including GDPR and Swiss data protection law.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Swiss law.
The exclusive place of jurisdiction for any disputes shall be Basel-Stadt, Switzerland.
13. Severability
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
