Based in Basel and founded in 2025, impactravel grew out of the Swiss Invalidity Insurance (IV) Programme, generous sponsorships, and the positive power within us.
Empowering People
We are a mixed team of people with and without personal experience of mental health crises and recovery, working side by side across all functions and departments. In collaboration with social institutions, we create opportunities for people to gain practical work experience, discover their strengths and develop new skills in a supportive, real-world working environment.
Our mission goes beyond meaningful travel. We break stigmas, challenge misconceptions and show that mental health is not a taboo or something to be ashamed of. Challenges do not define our potential — our strengths, resilience and contribution to society do.
